The teachers are more than frustrated as their classes totally rely on audio and they can't do their job, which is difficult enough as they are a special needs school. They're also getting out of memory errors when opening a file in Media player, wierd since resource monitor shows 3.6GB of free RAM. I've updated to the latest rollup 1.1 which mentions a fix to audio issues but still no joy. This is now happening on 3 seperate systems. so ANY clues or help would be hugely appreciated. I am desperate for some help on this one, as the system is basically useless and I'm taking alot of flack from the teachers. is this correct? If not maybe a new sound cardĬould be recommended in-case its a driver crashing or doing something nasty. I considered adding an additional sound card, and disabling the onboard one but after some research I'm guessing the Audio is all handled virtually and never actually hits the physical audio sub-system. I have the latest VSpace software and Roll Up 1 for Multipoint server I have tried running the software the children use in a variety of orders to see if I can spot one particular program doing something nasty, but so far have had no luck. The audio seems to drop out on one if not all stations at random intervals and we end up having to reboot the server to get it back. We've been running the above setup for about a month now with a reasonable amount of success, however I wonder if anyone can shed some light on the following problem.
